Among these, Chat GPT, developed by Open AI, stands out as a leading example, leveraging advanced deep learning techniques to emulate humanlike text generation. Introduced in late 2022, Chat GPT has quickly gained recognition for its ability to produce coherent and contextually relevant responses, owing to its training on a broad dataset [1]. This versatility has made Chat GPT a valuable tool in numerous fields, including medicine.

ChatGPT Use Among Pediatric Health Care Providers: Cross-Sectional Survey Study
The public launch of Chat GPT by Open AI in November 2022 generated immediate interest from a wide range of professionals as well as the public. The chatbot is based on a generative pretrained transformer large language model (GPT LLM) that processes large amounts of text to create an artificial intelligence (AI) system, which can then be repurposed across a variety of domains and diverse tasks [1].

Chat GPT, a general large language model (LLM) developed by Open AI, has gained substantial attention since its launch on November 30, 2022. Known for its advanced natural language processing capabilities, Chat GPT has the potential to make significant impacts on many industries, including medical education. Its performance in medicine was first tested at or near the passing threshold of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) [1,2].

Open AI has managed to create a highly effective platform with Chat GPT, especially for answering complex questions, positioning it as a pioneer in the field of natural language AI [1]. Despite the emergence of successors such as Google Bard, Chat GPT remains the most widely used platform and was therefore selected for this study.
Especially in the medical field, AI applications offer enormous potential [2].

An illustration of the 4 future worlds: AI Harmony, AI Conflict, The World of Ecological Balance, and Existential Risk generated using the DALL-E AI model (Open AI, 2020). AI: artificial intelligence.
Scenario-based strategic planning allows organizations to develop flexible strategies by considering multiple possible future worlds. The 4 possible worlds help to provide contexts to evaluate opportunities and risk of AI technology implementation into society.
