In accordance with the methodology outlined by Carli et al [52], the BDI-II was selected as the primary outcome measure, while the DASS-21 depression subscale was administered only at baseline (T0), following the principle of data minimization. The Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) [55] was used to assess DM, that is, open or receptive awareness and attention to what is happening in the present with a nonjudgmental attitude.
