These changes were made due to recruitment challenges, although they do not change the overall aims of the study. Other amendments included changes to the terminology used in study materials (“dementia,” “cognitive decline,” and “thinking difficulties” to improve recruitment) and updates to the list of staff members. All team members received email correspondence regarding submitted changes and were requested to review amended documentation where appropriate.

An Overview of Reviews on Telemedicine and Telehealth in Dementia Care: Mixed Methods Synthesis
Importantly, our findings do not categorically establish whether DHTs should be implemented as a supplement to traditional in-person care tools or as a replacement strategy.
Our findings align closely with the WHO’s Mental Health Action Plan 2013‐2030, which promotes enhancing access to mental health services based on high-quality scientific evidence and decreasing care inequities worldwide [131].

Key Features of Digital Phenotyping for Monitoring Mental Disorders: Systematic Review
In the case of Actiwatch, the limitation is primarily due to hardware constraints, as most models do not include sensors for EDA or skin temperature measurement [24-26]. On the other hand, smartwatches, although they often include these sensors, present challenges in terms of data accessibility.

The network graph reveals 2 main communities who do not really communicate with each other. There is a dominance of ME or long COVID nodes (Figure 1, in orange), who frequently engage in discussions about FND and often display anti-FND sentiment—discussed further in the Qualitative Content Analysis: Main Themes and Subthemes section. Compared to ME or long COVID nodes, FND nodes (Figure 1, in green) form a smaller and denser presence.

These factors can mislead the model, especially with incomplete or atypical ECGs that do not match the patterns it learned during training [36], situations in which multimodal LMMs often fail to generalize effectively. Furthermore, the absence of clinical context may further constrain performance, as incorporating patient symptoms or medical history has been shown to enhance diagnostic accuracy [37].

Participants were asked, “Do you now smoke cigarettes?” Similar questions were asked for cannabis and alcohol use. Response options were “every day,” “some days,” and “not at all.” “Every day” or “some days” responses were coded as current use of the substance.
Cultural subgroups were self-reported and classified into Asian Indian, Ethnic Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, NHPI, Vietnamese, Other Asian group, and multicultural groups.
