JMIR Mental Health now indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index

(Jan 2017) We are proud to report that JMIR Mental Health is now the 6th JMIR journal which has been selected for indexing and citation tracking in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). Previously selected journals from JMIR Publications include iJMR, JMIR mHealth, JMIR Med Inform, JMIR Serious Games, and JMIR Res Protoc. Indexing in the ESCI is generally seen as a first step towards indexing in SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded), which leads to the release of an official journal impact factor. In fact, JMIR mHealth has since "graduated" from indexing in ESCI to indexing in SCIE and is expecting its first impact factor in 2017. We congratulate JMH editor-in-chief John Torous and all editorial board members, reviewers, and authors of JMH to this achievement.

JMH is a pioneer in publishing peer-reviewed papers on digital mental health and mobile & internet interventions targeting the human mind and behavior.
