Telehealth Initiative to Enhance Primary Care Access in Brazil (UBS+Digital Project): Multicenter Prospective Study

Telehealth Initiative to Enhance Primary Care Access in Brazil (UBS+Digital Project): Multicenter Prospective Study

Health care services within SUS are organized according to the complexity needed to meet population demands: primary health care (PHC), medium complexity, and high complexity services. In this regard, the primary health unit (PHU; Portuguese: Unidade Básica de Saúde [UBS]) is a fundamental structure within the Brazilian health care system, designed to provide PHC and accessible, high-quality health services to the population.

School-Based Virtual Reality Programming for Obtaining Moderate-Intensity Exercise Among Children With Disabilities: Pre-Post Feasibility Study

School-Based Virtual Reality Programming for Obtaining Moderate-Intensity Exercise Among Children With Disabilities: Pre-Post Feasibility Study

Children with disabilities generally participate in low volumes of physical activity [1,2], which places them at high risk for cardiometabolic disorders (eg, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases) [3-6]. Cardiometabolic disorders among people with disabilities seem to onset during the early adult years and manifest around the mid-30s at higher prevalences than people without disabilities [6-8].

Assessment of Health System Readiness and Quality of Dementia Services in Peru: Protocol for a Qualitative Study With Stakeholder Interviews and Documentation Review

Assessment of Health System Readiness and Quality of Dementia Services in Peru: Protocol for a Qualitative Study With Stakeholder Interviews and Documentation Review

Dementia shares risk factors with many other common chronic diseases, including health-related behaviors (eg, unhealthy diet, smoking, and physical inactivity), as well as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, depression, and social isolation. Together, these factors account for 35% or more of the population-attributable risk (proportion of new cases of dementia due to the noted exposures).

Identification of Clusters in a Population With Obesity Using Machine Learning: Secondary Analysis of The Maastricht Study

Identification of Clusters in a Population With Obesity Using Machine Learning: Secondary Analysis of The Maastricht Study

Given these promising results and developments in the field of unsupervised ML techniques, we chose to include new developments in this study. In particular, we explore in this paper the clustering of a large multidimensional dataset provided by The Maastricht Study. The Maastricht Study is an observational, prospective, population-based, cohort study [17].

Using Laboratory Test Results for Surveillance During a New Outbreak of Acute Hepatitis in 3-Week- to 5-Year-Old Children in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Curaçao: Observational Cohort Study

Using Laboratory Test Results for Surveillance During a New Outbreak of Acute Hepatitis in 3-Week- to 5-Year-Old Children in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Curaçao: Observational Cohort Study

Even though there are many different causes for an increase in ALT or AST, the proportion of elevated measurements relative to all measurements is expected to be stable over extended periods, especially in young children, where the threshold to take blood samples is relatively high. In addition, we studied the feasibility of using routinely collected clinical laboratory results to detect or follow-up the outbreak of an infectious disease.

SARS-CoV-2 Infection Risk by Vaccine Doses and Prior Infections Over 24 Months: ProHEpiC-19 Longitudinal Study

This system supports clinical decision-making with high safety and quality of care. The information gathered includes SARS-Co V-2 vaccination details, results from RT-PCR tests and Ag-RDTs, diagnoses, and drug prescriptions. Second, REDCap (version 12.4.22; Vanderbilt University) was utilized to ensure the privacy of our participants by implementing data collection specific to the study.

Neighborhoods, Networks, and HIV Care Among Men Who Have Sex With Men: Proposal for a Longitudinal Study

Participants who enrolled and completed a study visit were provided with referral cards (either in person, via email, or text) in which they could refer their friends to the study, a maximum 3 referrals for US $10 for each referral who successfully screened for the study and enrolled into the study (maximum US $30 for total 3 referrals); this referral system was later amended with a limit of 1 referral per participant to reduce referral bias.

Subsequently, it was proven to be superior to chemotherapy as the first-choice treatment in cases characterized by high expression of the PD-L1 marker. Finally, significant results have been obtained in recent years by combining chemotherapy and immunotherapy, even in patients with low or absent PD-L1 expression.
